2009

The breath of craftsmanship


Emmanuel Frizac discovered the demanding and meticulous world of high-end craftsmanship. Working as a member of a candle factory, he worked with the major luxury hotel brands. This immersion in a world of precision, noble materials, and rare expertise left a lasting impression. There, he learned about high standards, innovation, and respect for the right technique. A vocation was born.

2010

The scent of an idea


Cosmetics appears to be a natural extension of this quest for authenticity. A sensory, intimate, living territory, where craftsmanship can fully express itself. The idea of a brand matures: a brand that doesn't cheat, that speaks the truth, that awakens the senses. It will bear a simple, essential name, full of promise: Origine .

2011

An anchor in Provence from Bandol to Gémenos


The brand was officially registered in June. The laboratory came to life in Gémenos, a few kilometers from the calanques, between the scrubland and the Mediterranean. Emmanuel joined forces with Diane, his wife, who had extensive experience in the luxury hotel industry. Together, they laid the foundations of an ambitious adventure. A promise: to craft unique expertise while respecting artisanal values.

2012

The first step: Original Oil


The first formula was born: Huile Originelle , developed hand in hand with the practitioners of Thalazur Bandol. Listening, observation, reformulation... This tailor-made treatment, designed for massage, would become a benchmark. Twelve years later, it remains unchanged, a testament to Origine's loyalty to its origins.

2013

The advent of facial care


Research intensifies. After more than 80 trials, the Collagen Beautifying Cream is perfected. Its melting texture, signature fragrance, and visible results make it an instant bestseller. This treatment embodies the Origine philosophy: effectiveness, sensoriality, and distinction.



2017

The transmission of gesture


Diane Frizac creates the Académie Origine . Designed as a space for training and teaching, it celebrates the art of personalized care. Practitioners learn the protocols developed by the brand, respecting touch, listening, and the right amount of time. People are at the heart of this new phase.




2019

A signature bottle


A new range of skincare oils is launched, lighter and more delicate. The Huile Satinante de Beauté , with its silhouette evoking the "O" of Origin, becomes a symbol of refinement. Both sensory and technical, it seals the link between professional skincare and daily pleasure.




2020

Growing up with high standards


The company now employs 12 people and invests in a 650 m² space. Equipment is being modernized, and production lines are being structured. The brand is gaining maturity without ever losing its artisanal spirit. A new phase of growth is beginning.





2025

Origin becomes an art [of living]


New step. Origine is expanding its universe and unveiling an ambitious Home range . Mists, scents, olfactory decorative objects… More than a launch, it's a declaration of intent: to elevate the Origine ambiance into an art of living . To offer an everyday aesthetic, inspired by nature, care, and slow gestures. To bring poetry into living spaces. Because living with Origine means inviting beauty into every moment.
